Biography
Teniola or Teni is an Associate at Israel Foulon Wong LLP. Called to the Ontario Bar in 2026, Teni is driven by the human-centered nature of employment law, Teni focuses on helping both individuals and organizations navigate complex workplace dynamics with clarity, care and cultural competency.
Having completed the Integrated Practice Curriculum (IPC) during law school at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, Teni developed extensive practical legal skills and hands-on simulation experience from day one.
Her practical approach as an advocate is grounded in clear communication, strategic analysis, and a strong commitment to guiding clients through complex legal dynamics. Teni has experience negotiating practical solutions to sensitive employment disputes and advocating effectively on behalf of both employees and employers.
Prior to joining Israel Foulon Wong LLP, Teni articled at a leading full-service law firm, where she gained comprehensive experience across a range of civil litigation and workplace-related matters. She also completed an in-house legal internship with one of Canada’s major telecommunications corporations, where she deepened her knowledge and drive for labor and employment law. This experience gave Teni a first-hand understanding of corporate employer perspectives, operational priorities, and risk management strategies that she now leverages to provide the best service to her clients.
Teni remains actively engaged in the legal community. She serves as a committee member for the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL) Annual Conference and is an active alumna of the Black Law Students’ Association Canada (BLSAC).
Outside of her legal practice, Teni is a fashion enthusiast and digital content curator.
